Conway MacKenzie, Inc. Appoints Kevin Barrentine as Senior Managing Director

Kevin Barrentine has been appointed senior managing director at Conway MacKenzie, Inc. and will lead the firm’s Atlanta regional office. He specializes in solving complex business problems and providing turnaround, restructuring and M&A-related transaction services.

For nearly 30 years, Barrentine has developed and implemented operational and financial improvement plans for private equity groups, financial institutions and numerous middle-market corporations, helping them grow revenue, increase operating profit and improve working capital productivity.

Barrentine’s expertise has enabled him to serve as chief restructuring officer, chief operating officer and interim chief financial officer for distressed and underperforming companies. His experience spans a variety of industries, including manufacturing and distribution, industrial and consumer products, aerospace, automotive, construction, food services, furniture and retail.

Barrentine is an active member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Association for Corporate Growth and the Atlanta chapter of the Turnaround Management Association.

Prior to joining Conway MacKenzie, Barrentine was a managing director for Deloitte Advisory’s Restructuring, Performance Improvement and M&A Practices. Prior to joining Deloitte, he was a partner with CRG Partners Group.
