Engel & Völkers announced Shirley Gary as the highest ranked real estate advisor worldwide based on units closed. Gary evidenced exceptional production in the 2017 fiscal year, ranking above more than 10,000 real estate professionals who represent the Engel & Völkers brand in over 30 countries. Gary is also ranked number two in sales volume, posting over $260 million in sales volume in 2017, and number five in commission income.
“Engel & Völkers consists of the most competent and skilled advisors in the real estate industry,” said Anthony Hitt, president & CEO of Engel & Völkers Americas. “Shirley’s success is indicative of our entire network’s consistent dedication to providing client service experiences of the highest caliber, contributing to our global success as a company. It is an honor to recognize her as one of our top producing leaders not only in the Americas, but worldwide.”
Opening Atlanta’s first Engel & Völkers storefront location in 2014, Gary has staked her claim as one of Atlanta’s leaders in the luxury real estate market. Gary leads a team of over 90 advisors, handling both general brokerage and commercial clients, including a New Homes Division, which partners with builders like Jim Chapman Communities, Rockhaven Homes, and Edward Andrews Homes to sell and market their metro Atlanta communities. Earlier this year, Gary and her team celebrated the grand opening of the Engel & Völkers Atlanta North Fulton shop in Alpharetta.
“It’s an honor to be among Engel & Völkers’ top 10 advisors worldwide and it’s a true testament to the continued commitment and drive of our fast-growing team,” said Shirley Gary, Engel & Völkers Atlanta North Fulton and Buckhead Atlanta CEO. “This past year was a landmark year for Engel & Völkers Atlanta North Fulton and Buckhead Atlanta, combined ranking as two of the top producing general brokerage shops in the market. We're looking forward to furthering that momentum in the last quarter of 2018 and continuing to carry out our brand’s promise of delivering unmatched real estate service to our clients, particularly here in Atlanta.”
Gary was recognized at a formal award ceremony at the Museum of Hamburg History in Germany on Sept. 11, which celebrated all top advisors and was presented by Christian Völkers, founder of Engel & Völkers; Sven Odia, global CEO of Engel & Völkers; and Anthony Hitt. Advisors from the U.S. and Canada ranked on the majority of the global list, categorized by transaction volume, commission, rentals and units sold.
