Staff Report From Metro Atlanta CEO

Monday, November 12th, 2018

For five years, the Barter Open Golf Tournament has raised tens of thousands of dollars to benefit the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation – GA Chapter. This year was no exception; through the generosity of The Barter Company, and its clients and friends, PBTF-GA received a donation of $9,200.

Although the money raised will benefit a great cause, the highlight of the day for the golfers was meeting two brain tumor survivors who played along with them at Cobblestone Golf Course in Acworth, GA. Ric Zampatti, CEO of The Barter Company said: “We have fun playing golf and raising money for these kids but to meet them personally and see the good that PBTF brings to their lives is incredible.”

Tammy Bates, Managing Director of the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation – GA Chapter, said “We are tremendously appreciative to receive this money from The Barter Company’s golf tournament. PBTF provides financial, social and emotional support to hundreds of Georgia families who are facing some of the most difficult moments in their lives. This couldn’t be accomplished without the support of The Barter Company and many other generous donors.”
