Delta Community Announces 2019 Philanthropic Grant Recipients

Delta Community Credit Union, Georgia's largest credit union with $5.8 billion in assets, announces recipients of its annual Philanthropic Fund grant program. Throughout 2019, the Fund will invest a total of $100,000 in 24 organizations which support metro Atlanta children and families.

"We know that investment in the physical and financial well-being of people who live in the areas we serve results in stronger individuals, families and, ultimately, communities," said Delta Community CEO Hank Halter. "We're grateful for the opportunity to invest in these organizations which share our commitment to both help families manage their money optimally and improve the physical and financial health of young people."

Throughout 2019, individual grants ranging from $1,000 to $10,000 will be distributed to:

  • Kidz2leaders

  • Martin Luther King Sr. Community Resources Collaborative

  • Meals on Wheels Atlanta

  • Odyssey Family Counseling Center

  • Partnership Against Domestic Violence

  • Revved Up Kids, Inc.

  • Street Grace, Inc.

  • Sunshine on a Ranney Day

  • TechBridge

  • The Auditory-Verbal Center, Inc.
