Choice Hotels International, Inc., one of the world's largest hotel franchisors, in collaboration with Vikas Patel of Mountain View Hospitality, announced the opening of the WoodSpring Suites Atlanta Conyers. The new hotel is the third WoodSpring hotel to open in the greater Atlanta region, joining the WoodSpring Suites Atlanta Alpharetta and WoodSpring Suites Atlanta Chamblee.
"We are committed to growing the WoodSpring Suites brand in markets with strong extended-stay demand. Atlanta is one of the nation's fastest-growing cities and has a high concentration of Fortune 500 companies, making it an ideal market to develop multiple WoodSpring hotels," said Ron Burgett, vice president, development, WoodSpring Suites, Choice Hotels. "The WoodSpring Suites Atlanta Conyers offers everything guests want in a longer-term stay, from in-room kitchens with full-size refrigerators to free Wi-Fi. We look forward to working with Mountain View Hospitality to welcome travelers to the region."
The newly constructed, 122-room hotel is located at 2000 Iris Drive Southeast in Atlanta's Conyers borough. The property provides extended-stay guests with convenient access to several hospitals and universities, including the Mercy Heart Clinic, Rockdale Health Center, and Oxford College of Emory University, and is within driving distance to downtown Atlanta's many corporate offices. The WoodSpring Suites Atlanta Conyers features three suite layouts to suit guests' needs. Additionally, the hotel is 100-percent smoke free and offers complimentary parking, guest laundry facilities, and a fitness center.
"It has been a privilege to team with Choice Hotels to bring our first WoodSpring Suites hotels to fruition in the rapidly emerging Conyers area of Atlanta. As one of the city's newest hotels, we know the WoodSpring Suites Atlanta Conyers will serve as a premier destination for the area's growing number of longer-term travelers," said Vikas Patel of Mountain View Hospitality.
