VEO, the Georgia non-profit, enhances the quality of life for homeless veterans on their road to self-sufficiency. The Blank Family of Businesses current portfolio includes the Atlanta Falcons; Atlanta United; PGA TOUR Superstore; The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation; Mountain Sky Guest Ranch; West Creek Ranch; and AMB Group. Arthur Blank and the Falcons, in partnership with the city of Atlanta and the state of Georgia, are the private funders of Mercedes-Benz Stadium. "VEO leads a devoted mission year-round, and I believe that lasting change happens when we work together to invest in our veterans," said Cannon. "I look forward to the day veteran homelessness in Georgia is completely eliminated."
The Gala provides opportunities for more than 500 guests from the Atlanta community to show their support for homeless veterans who are working hard to gain housing, employment, and self-sufficiency. The event marks 10 years of VEO empowering homeless veterans and their families. "Homelessness painfully disrupts the lives of veterans and their families in a number of ways," said Angie Blank. "VEO supports veterans in rebuilding their identity, and I feel a strong responsibility to help. I encourage Georgia residents to join us in supporting this cause in any way they can."
