Dickey Broadcasting Company and the AAF’s Atlanta Legends Sign Flagship Deal

Dickey Broadcasting Company is proud to announce a partnership with The Atlanta Legends, of the newly formed Alliance of American Football, to serve as the organization’s flagship radio station.
 
All Atlanta Legends games throughout the 2019 season will air live on either 680AM/93.7FM or 106.3FM/103.7FM and streamed online at either 680thefan.com or atlsportsx.com.  Dickey Broadcasting Company will provide play-by-play staff for the inaugural season.
 
Jim Mahanay, Dickey Broadcasting’s Operations Manager, “As the Alliance of American Football kicks off their inaugural season, 680 The Fan is proud to announce that we will be the Flagship Station of the Atlanta Legends.  The Fan has been Atlanta’s Home for Football for more than 25 years and we are excited to partner with the Legends to bring Football fans all the action of the 2019 season.”
 
The broadcast will carry a 30-minute pregame show live from the Georgia State Stadium Plaza when The Legends are home, with each road contest offering a 30-minute pregame show as well.  Each broadcast will carry a half-hour postgame show featuring Dickey Broadcasting broadcasters.
 
“We are excited to have Dickey Broadcasting serve as the ‘radio home of The Atlanta Legends’ as we kickoff our inaugural season in the Alliance," said Legends President David Livingston. “In addition to broadcasting all 10 Legends regular season games with well-known station voices, our fans will benefit from the additional Legends programming, including pregame and postgame shows, and regular discussion and on-air appearances by Legends and DBC personalities.  We look forward to working with all of the talented people at Dickey Broadcasting for many years to come.”
 
Led by some of the most respected football minds in the game, The Alliance of American Football is a dynamic professional football league fueled by an unprecedented Alliance between players, fans and the game. Founded by TV and film producer Charlie Ebersol and Hall of Famer Bill Polian, The Alliance will feature eight teams with 52-player rosters playing a 10-week regular season schedule in the spring beginning February 9, 2019 on CBS, followed by two playoff rounds and culminating with the championship game on April 27, 2019.
