Georgia’s InsuranceHub Taps Lee LeBaigue as VP of Technology

Staff Report From Metro Atlanta CEO

Metro Atlanta-based InsuranceHub is pleased to announce that Lee LeBaigue has transitioned from Vice President of Sales to the role of Vice President of Technology.  LeBaigue originally joined InsuranceHub in 2011 with a background in SEO and business management.  He quickly took to managing online lead acquisition and the sales process, before spending next several years selling personal and commercial insurance to gain a better understanding of the process and the challenges InsuranceHub agents and their customers face.  His hard work paid off and in 2016 Lee was promoted to VP of Sales.  In this role, he oversaw all sales operations and witnessed double digit growth each year.  In 2018 alone, the commercial department grew 57%.  This rapid growth over the last five years allowed InsuranceHub to dedicate full time staff members to a technology- and marketing-focused division, which is the department that LeBaigue has been tapped to lead.

“Lee is a very hands-on manager,” said Jim Lloyd, President of InsuranceHub. “Lee believes that effectively managing a sales team is difficult to do until one has first experienced the role and done the work.  He’s a roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty kind of leader who’s happiest in the trenches with his people. That’s how he ran the Sales division, and I have no doubt that’s how he’ll run our Marketing Technology division. He’ll learn every aspect of each role his team members play in order to make that division run at its optimum level. That’s a big ask, because technology is the driving force behind this company. It’s changing the way we sell, and the way our clients buy insurance. I have all the faith in the world that Lee is up for that challenge and look forward to watching this division evolve in the years to come under his leadership.”

LeBaigue shares this enthusiasm, “We have assembled an amazing team in our Marketing Technology division at InsuranceHub over the last few years. I’m excited to see how we will shift the landscape of insuretech.”
