Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta Brings In The New Year With New Board Officers and Members for the 2018-2019 Fiscal Year

Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta is excited to announce several new board appointments as well as new board members who will join the Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta Board in 2018-19:

New Board Officers:

Anne Bowen – Long, Chair, UPS (Retired) VP, Global Sales Strategy, Training & Talent Management

Sonnet C. Edmonds, Vice Chair, Southern Company, Senior Counsel, Board Development Chair

Cathy C. Miller, Treasurer, Atlanta Financial Associates, Principal

New Board Members:

Denise Reese, VP Digital Solutions at SoftVision

Erika Preval, Proprietor, Charm Etiquette

They join a team that has extensive business experience, community knowledge and passion for building the next generation of girl leaders. The Board of Directors is responsible for the overall governance, fiscal oversight and the continued growth of the Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta.  Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta offers girls an extraordinary opportunity to discover their passion and make a positive impact on the world.  The leaders chosen for this year’s board exemplify the true mission and values of Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta.
