Gavin Shook Strengthens United Community Bank Team in Atlanta

United Community Bank is pleased to welcome Gavin Shook as Senior Vice President/Commercial Relationship Manager to its Metro Atlanta team. Shook has more than fifteen years of industry experience and operates out of the bank’s Canton office.

In his role as Commercial Relationship Manager, Shook will focus on increasing commercial loans and deposits for United in Atlanta. Prior to joining United, he served as Senior Vice President/Commercial Relationship Officer for Renasant Bank. Shook began his career with Bank of America.

Originally from Roswell, Georgia, Shook has resided in Cherokee County for the majority of his adult life. He is a graduate of Georgia Southern University and attendee of Woodstock City Church. In addition to his involvement with the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce, Shook hosts an annual charity fishing tournament for organizations in his community. He is also a soccer coach for Cherokee Impact. He and his wife Brandi, a teacher at Freedom Middle School, have two children, Heidi and Jake.
