Art brings us together. It connects us through wonder, feeling, inspiration, education and so much more. Nowhere is that more evident than at the Jacqueline Casey Hudgens Center for Art & Learning. For almost 40 years, The Hudgens Center has provided a place for our community to experience art.

It is a place where children come to learn and play; where close friendships are formed through art classes and countless hours in the studio; where healing occurs for many who have experienced pain and loss; and where visitors come to marvel at the art around them.

Since 1981, The Center has been dedicated to bringing art lovers, leaders, and learners together through quality programs and exhibits. Artists like Rembrandt, Andy Warhol, Pablo Picasso, Kandinsky, and many other old world and modern artists have filled its walls. It is the home of the Hudgens Prize, one of the largest awards given to an individual artist in the entire nation. The Hudgens Center also offers art classes for all ages, the smART Honors Program for high school students, Healing Arts for those processing challenges in their lives, various exhibitions, community outreach programs, and much more.

Each year, more than 13,000 people visit The Hudgens Center to see 15 exhibitions presented throughout four exhibit cycles. More than 1,400 art learners of all ages and abilities attend art classes. The Jacqueline Casey Hudgens Center for Art & Learning truly is dedicated to spreading the love of art and learning throughout Gwinnett County.
