Quality Care for Children Welcomes New Directors for Marketing and Fund Development

Quality Care for Children announced two new additions to its marketing and fund development team. Ashley Earles-Bennett, formerly the marketing director at Actor’s Express theatre company, assumes the director of marketing role at QCC. Also joining QCC is Satyam Barakoti as the director of fund development.

“We are excited to welcome Ashley and Satyam to the team, and look forward to their insight and help as we continue assisting Georgia’s children and families with access to quality child care,” said Quality Care for Children’s CEO and President Pam Tatum. 

Prior to working with Actor’s Express, Earles-Bennett was the director of public relations for the University of Florida’s School of Music for almost a decade. Her professional experience also includes various marketing roles with a cell phone carrier and for a major website company. Earles-Bennett is an alumna of the University of North Florida where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and a Master of Arts degree in English.

Earles-Bennett is a 2018 graduate of the Atlanta Regional Commission’s Arts Leader of Metro Atlanta (ALMA) program. She volunteers with Atlanta’s Synchronicity Theatre, and is a past volunteer of many years with Girls Rock Jacksonville. In her free time, she enjoys photography and has had images featured in the Atlanta-Journal Constitution, American Theatre magazine and others. She lives with her family in Henry County.

Before joining QCC, Barakoti was the owner and managing consultant of Durga Consulting where she worked primarily with nonprofits in the Atlanta area. In this capacity, Durga assisted organizations with their communications and fundraising strategies in order to increase visibility, resources, and revenues. She has more than 20 years of experience working with women, immigrant and refugee communities, LGBTQ, and underserved urban and rural groups.

Barakoti graduated from the University of Maine with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in Political Science, Sociology and Women studies. She earned her Master of Arts degree in International Development from American University. Barakoti lives in DeKalb County with her family.
