Atlanta-based nonprofit Women in Technology (WIT) is excited to announce its WIT Connect 2019 will be held Thursday, June 20, 2019 from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm at the Georgia Aquarium.

WIT Connect is the non-profit’s annual fundraising and networking event with over 700 top level executives in the technology field in attendance. At the event, WIT Girls and WIT Campus young women are celebrated along with the impact WIT programs has had on their advancement in science, technology, engineering, arts and math (STEAM).

The highlight of the event is the presentation of scholarships by Georgia companies to young women in our WIT Girls and WIT Campus programs who have exhibited distinguished achievement in STEAM education. In 2018, WIT impacted nearly 2,000 girls and women in their pursuit of STEAM careers and donated nearly $150,000 in scholarships.

The event will also feature several opportunities to raise funds to support the next generation of female STEAM leaders – including an executive auction in which individuals can bid to get exclusive one-on-one time with business leaders at top Atlanta companies.
