DeKalb Chamber, Junior League of DeKalb County to Host Women Leadership Conference May 17th

DeKalb Chamber and Junior League of DeKalb County will host the Women Mean Business Leadership Conference on Friday, May 17 for a day of empowerment, professional development, and networking.

“We look forward to hosting this leadership conference with Junior League of DeKalb,” said Katerina Taylor, DeKalb Chamber President and CEO. “This conference will equip attendees with the tools to make smarter business decisions and take ownership of their professional careers, while also providing them the opportunity to form like-minded professional connections.”

The conference will take place at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Atlanta Northlake, 4156 Lavista Road, Atlanta, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. It will include breakout sessions, a keynote presentation and various networking opportunities.

The breakout sessions will cover topics including practicing self-compassion; exploring a thriving mindset; overcoming imposter syndrome; defining success; pivoting from corporate life into entrepreneurship; and overcoming career setbacks. Rukiya Thomas,Vice President and Senior Regional Business Development & Strategy Director for ATKINS, will serve as the keynote speaker.
