Simon, a global leader in premier shopping, dining and entertainment destinations, has named Randall Jackson director of marketing of Phipps Plaza. In his new position, Jackson will manage Phipps Plaza’s public relations, tourism marketing, retailer promotion and event planning. As a Simon employee for more than a decade, Jackson is poised to continue elevating Phipps Plaza’s marketing strategy.

Throughout his time with Simon, Jackson has surpassed multiple company goals, furthering the shopping and dining experiences at each center. He began his career working in guest services in Nashville. Jackson was promoted to Lebanon Outlet Marketplace’s director of marketing and business development prior to serving the same role at Miller Hill Mall in Duluth, Minnesota. Most recently, Jackson was the director of marketing and business development at North Georgia Premium Outlets in Dawsonville. He looks forward to applying his extensive experience to his new role at Phipps Plaza.

“Randall has been an essential member of the Simon team for ten years,” said Nicole Delmer, regional vice president of marketing for Simon. “We’re delighted to have him spearheading Phipps Plaza’s marketing strategy as the center transforms with the ongoing mixed-use redevelopment project.”

A graduate of Western Governor's University, Jackson holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing management.

Work is in progress on a dynamic, reimagined Phipps Plaza, set for a phased opening beginning early 2020. The highly anticipated premier mixed-use redevelopment is headlined by Nobu Hotel and Restaurant Atlanta; a 90,000 square-foot Life Time® healthy living and entertainment destination; a unique, curated dining experience; a 13-story, 350,000 square foot Class A office building, One Phipps Plaza; and an outdoor venue and green space. With construction now proceeding, the center will remain open throughout the process and every effort is being made to minimize disruptions for shoppers.
