Tapping its network of more than 3,500 agents, Symmetry Financial Group will launch its national partnership with Habitat for Humanity on May 16 to build homes alongside future Habitat homeowners in seven U.S. cities. The daylong nationwide effort reflects Symmetry’s commitment to help families achieve strength and stability through shelter.

Symmetry team members from across the country will volunteer alongside homeowners to assist with new home construction, home repairs and neighborhood revitalization projects in Asheville, N.C.; Atlanta; Washington, D.C.; Orlando, Fla.; Indianapolis; Phoenix; and Dallas. Volunteers will also provide on-site support at local Habitat for Humanity ReStore locations.

“We’re thrilled to have the support of Symmetry and its employees as we work to address critical housing issues across the U.S.,” said Julie Davis, vice president, Corporate and Foundation Relations. “Partnerships like these allow us to make a significant difference for families in need of a place to call home.”

In addition to supporting Habitat, Symmetry partners with nonprofits that support youth, fund healthcare and prevent food instability and hunger. In 2018, Symmetry supported more than 35 local and regional nonprofits and organizations.

"One of our core values is to be of service and do good in the world, which is reflected in our agents coming together to help families in need of decent, affordable housing. We are honored to partner with Habitat for Humanity to help families in seven cities across the U.S. improve their living conditions through homeownership,” said Whitney Zeh, director of Community Relations and Well-being for Symmetry Financial Group. “To be able to bring our nationwide Symmetry family together for this experience is such a gift, and we are humbled to see the impact we could make with this many people in one day."
