Five Bloom Parham Attorneys Selected to the 2019 Georgia Super Lawyers List

Bloom Parham, LLP is pleased to announce that FIVE of the firm’s attorneys were selected as 2019 Georgia Super Lawyers. Partners Simon Bloom and Steve Parham, senior counsel Shannan Oliver and counsel Troy Covington were recognized in the Business Litigation category, and counsel Ryan Pumpian was named in the Intellectual Property Litigation category.
The Super Lawyers distinction honors attorneys who attain a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement as some of the region’s pre-eminent lawyers. Super Lawyers is a rating service of lawyers from more than 70 practice areas. The selection process includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations, all of which result in a comprehensive and diverse listing of the top five percent of attorneys in each state.
Bloom is the founder of Bloom Parham. He focuses his practice on high stakes civil litigation with an emphasis on the real estate industry. Bloom provides advice, counsel and litigation support for complex matters to clients including developers, builders, property owners and brokers throughout the United States. His experience in the real estate industry includes real property disputes, from zoning and permitting, to closing and earnest money, to construction defect, homeowner disputes, eminent domain and complex tax appeal litigation. Outside of real estate, Bloom has handled high-stakes cases throughout the country including, employment and partnership disputes, intellectual property litigation and a wide array of contentious commercial battles.
Parham is the Managing Partner of Bloom Parham. He counsels clients and tries cases in the fields of commercial business, real estate and tort litigation, with an emphasis on both creative dispute resolution and aggressive trial advocacy. Parham has experience representing publicly traded and private companies, real estate developers, contractors, joint ventures and partnerships, and individuals in a variety of cases. He has extensive experience in both state and federal courts, and has tried cases to verdict in Georgia, Alabama, Florida and Texas.
Oliver focuses her practice on employment and business litigation. She has extensive experience in both state and federal courts.
Covington has extensive litigation experience, having represented clients at every level of the state and federal courts in Georgia, including several victories at the appellate level. He counsels clients on business matters involving trademark and trade secret claims, contract disputes, corporate governance disputes, partnership disputes, business torts, commercial property tax appeals, eminent domain and property condemnation, church governance disputes, boundary disputes and lender liability.
Pumpian provides counsel and litigation services to clients on matters involving intellectual property, trade dress, trademarks, copyrights, false advertising, claims of unfair competition and other business disputes. He has experience in multiple industries including financial services, software, healthcare, medical devices, manufacturing, radio broadcasting, music and photography.
