North American Properties announced the appointment of Vicky Boyce as Partner and Chief Operating Officer in the Atlanta office. As COO-Atlanta, she will manage and oversee the financial performance of NAP’s $5 billion mixed-use development pipeline, which includes Avalon, Colony Square, High Street, Revel and Riverton. Boyce’s addition to the NAP leadership team marks her second tenure with the firm, following a seven-year role as Vice President of Finance from 2001 to 2008.
“Throughout her career, Vicky has worn multiple hats and gained expertise in nearly every facet of commercial real estate,” said Mark Toro, managing partner of NAP. “Bringing her on board is part of our continued growth story as we deploy our proven mixed-use formula in other markets. Her role as COO is critical to moving each of our projects forward and we are delighted to welcome her back to the NAP family.”
At NAP, Boyce is responsible for budget and financial oversight from the project level to the enterprise level. Her role focuses on maintaining capital partner and investor relationships; overseeing risk management and asset management; and ensuring NAP and its employees are well-equipped with the right resources and tools to be successful. Boyce also works closely with the leadership team to manage talent allocation and accountability to bring NAP’s four newest projects to life, mirroring the success of NAP’s $1 billion, award-winning mixed-use destination Avalon.
“Over the past 10 years, I’ve watched NAP’s Atlanta office shift its strategy from developing traditional power centers to building massive, experiential mixed-use communities. It is more vital now than ever to make sure the firm is of the right scale to execute its numerous projects,” said Vicky Boyce, partner and chief operating officer at NAP. “This team is extremely motivated, and I look forward to working alongside such a purpose-driven group.”
Prior to returning to NAP, Vicky served as executive vice president at Arris Realty Partners (formerly Ben Carter Properties) where she was responsible for financial management, including accounting, analysis and forecasting. During her tenure with Arris, Vicky was deeply involved in the development process from due diligence, entitlement and planning, to construction, lease-ups and stabilization. Over the course of her career, she has overseen the financing and development of more than five million square feet of retail properties and directed the sales and acquisitions of over 10 million square feet of retail space.
After receiving her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Georgia, Boyce began her real estate career with New Market Development. She also previously worked with S.J. Collins Enterprises and Weingarten Realty Investors.
