North American Properties Appoints Molly Morgan as Director of Leasing

North American Properties announced Molly Morgan will serve as director of leasing for the firm’s $5 billion mixed-use development pipeline. In this position, Morgan will work alongside partner and senior vice president of leasing Adam Schwegman, vice president of leasing Sheri Ross and leasing associate Brooke Campbell to bring unique retail experiences to Avalon, Colony Square, High Street, Revel and Riverton.
“Molly is a seasoned retail leasing strategist with an extensive background in curating some of the most recognized mixed-use developments in the country,” said Schwegman. “She brings a wealth of knowledge and industry relationships to the team, which will strengthen our overall strategy for adding value to the local communities our projects call home.”
Morgan’s addition to the NAP team marks her second tenure with the firm, following a previous role as the marketing manager at Atlantic Station from 2011 to 2012. At NAP, Morgan is responsible for implementing and executing a strategy to bring best-in-class retail concepts, including digitally native brands, to the markets where each project is located.

As VP of leasing at JLL, Molly has developed and implemented leasing and merchandising strategies for many notable projects, including The Battery at SunTrust Park in Atlanta, a mixed-use sports and entertainment center; Summerhill, the redevelopment of Turner Field in Atlanta; The Shops Buckhead Atlanta; Halcyon, a new mixed-use development in Forsyth County, Georgia; and The Galleria in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
After receiving her Bachelor of Arts from Miami University in Ohio, Morgan launched her real estate career with Cousins Properties. She also previously served as the Portfolio Review Manager for the East region with General Growth Properties (GGP) where she was responsible for assisting with leasing efforts at Mizner Park and Village of Merrick Park in South Florida.
Morgan is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and also holds a real estate license in the states of Georgia, Florida and Pennsylvania.
