Atlanta-based event planning and design firm WM Events announces the addition of Brett McDaniel as operations manager.
 
In his new role, McDaniel will be responsible for leading all logistical aspects of the production and floral teams, including event logistics, transportation and labor. His duties will also include management of the warehouse, inventory, company fleet and ongoing training of drivers.
 
"Brett’s extensive insight and background in the hospitality industry adds to the foundation of our WM Events team,” said William Fogler, principal and founder. “He possesses a wealth of knowledge about event operations and has the ability to successfully lead our warehouse and transportation arms. I am excited to welcome him to the team.”
 
McDaniel brings with him more than a decade of experience in operations management for the events industry. Prior to joining WM Events, he worked with A Divine Event, where he advanced from operations equipment coordinator to his final position as warehouse manager. McDaniel’s expertise lies in maintaining vendor relationships and managing all aspects of operations from warehousing to transportation.
