Kilpatrick Townsend's Henry Walker Named One of Atlanta’s Most Admired CEOs

The Atlanta Business Chronicle named J. Henry Walker IV, Chair and CEO of Kilpatrick Townsend, one of Atlanta’s Most Admired CEOs. The Most Admired CEO Awards honor Atlanta area business leaders who demonstrate a strong record of leadership, innovation, stellar financial performance, a commitment to workplace diversity, and who have made significant contributions to the community. The CEOs will receive their recognition at an August 22 awards dinner.

Henry Walker serves as the Chair and Chief Executive Officer of Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP, an international law firm with over 600 lawyers and 20 offices. In this role, he leads the firm's Executive and Management Committees working closely with them to define and execute the firm's strategic and operational objectives. With a focus on innovative client service, collaboration, and strategic growth, Kilpatrick Townsend has significantly increased its gross revenue and profitability as well as expanded the breadth of its legal services and geographic footprint while Mr. Walker has been in leadership. The law firm has received numerous awards recognizing its role as a leader in the legal industry regarding its commitment to diversity and inclusion, including most recently the inaugural Law Firm Diversity Champion Award from Facebook.
Mr. Walker continues to handle select matters for clients as a partner on Kilpatrick Townsend’s Complex Commercial Litigation Team. Among other accolades, he was recognized in The Best Lawyers in America for Commercial Litigation in 2019 and the six years immediately preceding. He was also named a 2017 "Atlanta Lawyer of the Year" in the area of Technology Law by The Best Lawyers in America. He has served on the State Bar of Georgia Board of Governors since 1995. He also serves in leadership roles on the Boards of a number of legal, business, and non-profit organizations.
