Atlanta Fed Names Ferrell and Squires Vice Presidents and Gibson and Williamson Assistant Vice Presidents

Bevery Ferrell has been promoted to vice president and branch operations officer for Miami and Richard Squires has been promoted to vice president and branch operations officer for New Orleans, announced Raphael Bostic, president and chief executive officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. Gina Gibson and Jeff Williamson have been promoted to assistant vice presidents in the Financial Management and Planning (FM&P) Department. Gibson will have responsibility for the District's budget process, as well as the cost accounting, financial forecasting, and performance reporting operations. Williamson will have responsibility for accounting and expense management, including oversight of the Bank's financial accounting, financial statement reporting, discretionary spending, accounts payable, and travel functions.

Ferrell joined the Miami Branch as a management associate in 1997 and held various management roles in Check Collections and Payment Services until 2004. After a break in service, she rejoined the Miami Branch in 2010 as a financial services director in cash. Ferrell was promoted to assistant vice president and branch operations officer in 2016. She earned a bachelor of arts in finance from the University of Miami and a Project Management Professional certification from Florida International University.

Squires has been with the New Orleans Branch for 29 years. He started his career as a programmer in the Systems Department. He was promoted to IT director in 1999 and later assumed responsibility for several functions, including human resources, business continuity, and facilities. Squires was promoted to assistant vice president and branch manager in 2014. He earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of New Orleans.

Gibson began her Federal Reserve career in 2006 as an auditor at the Richmond Fed. In 2007, she transferred to the Atlanta Fed as a senior auditor and held positions of increasing responsibility in the Audit Department. Gibson joined FM&P in 2016 and most recently served as a director with responsibility for the finance and cost accounting units. She earned a bachelor's degree in accounting, economics, and business from Randolph-Macon College.

Williamson joined the Atlanta Fed in 2000 as a senior analyst and held various positions of increasing responsibility before joining the Retail Payments Office (RPO) as a financial product coordinator in 2006. He held various management positions in the RPO before being promoted to financial director in 2012. Williamson earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Florida and a master's degree in business administration from Pennsylvania State University.
