On October 15-16, LexisNexis Risk Solutions will host the 6th annual HPCC Systems Summit Community Day. The event will gather engineers, data scientists, and research and technology professionals to share knowledge and future plans for HPCC Systems, the open source big data analytics platform.

October 15 Training Workshop: "Rocking Big Music Data Using ECL Essentials" – this half-day workshop will take students through the data extraction, transformation, and delivery cycle using HPCC Systems and ECL. Code examples and hands-on lessons will be included. A public dataset based on the Million Song Dataset, and other auxiliary data will be used.

October 16: Community Day is dedicated to showcasing the HPCC Systems community’s research projects, use cases and experiences leveraging the HPCC Systems platform. Gathering engineers, data scientists and academia from around the world, the summit will feature presentations from industry experts on topics at the forefront of big data technology advancement.
