Following the announcement of Bayer Properties’ recent third-party management assignment for The Forum on Peachtree Parkway in Peachtree Corners, Ga., the Birmingham-based commercial real estate firm has appointed Sue Storck as general manager of the property. In her new role, Storck will oversee daily property operations and the execution of new landscaping, amenities and other updates Bayer is implementing at the 500,000-square-foot mixed-use destination.

“From the moment I learned about the opportunity with The Forum, I was attracted to Bayer’s vision for transforming the development to meet the demands of the changing market,” said Storck. “I have been blown away by the growth that has taken place in Peachtree Corners over the past few years and am excited to reintroduce The Forum as a gathering place for the community.”

Storck brings more than 25 years of experience from various management positions within the retail industry. Prior to joining Bayer, she worked as general manager for ATR Corinth Properties. Storck also served in numerous management roles with Simon Property Group, including mall manager and office manager for Northlake Mall in Atlanta, and area director of marketing.

Storck is currently working to hire a full-time team at The Forum, including a marketing manager, office administrator and operations manager. Through this new role, Bayer and Storck are committed to interacting with the city and its residents, ensuring The Forum provides a best-in-class experience for all visitors.

“Sue’s extensive background in retail management has shaped her outlook on what a successful mixed-use project should offer to the community,” said Mark Curran, regional manager at Bayer Properties. “As we implement additional amenities and property-wide updates, we look forward to Sue applying her expertise to lead a full-time, on-site staff that will prioritize creating a connected and activated destination for the deserving Gwinnett County community.”

The Forum currently boasts a mix of top-tier retailers such as Williams Sonoma, Trader Joe’s, Barnes & Noble and Pottery Barn, as well as several dining options and 87,000 square feet of Class A office space. The property will also eventually connect with Town Center, a new mixed-use development across the street, through a pedestrian bridge currently underway by the City of Peachtree Corners. The bridge, slated for completion in 2020, is intended to connect the two properties to create a larger sense of community and increase the amenities available to Peachtree Corners.
