Coretta Scott King Young Women’s Leadership Academy, Therrell High School to Host 16 Educators from Germany

Sprichst du Deutsch (Do you speak German)? A group of 16 educators and school administrators from Saxony, Germany, along with members of Atlanta Public Schools’ Office of ESOL & World Languages, members of the German American Cultural Foundation (GACF), and a member of the Mayor’s Office of International Affairs will visit Coretta Scott King Young Women’s Leadership Academy (CSKYWLA) and Therrell High School on Thursday, October 17. GACF has provided funding for two part-time teachers to support the launch of German language programs at both schools. The group will tour CSKYWLA from 9 a.m. – 11:15 a.m., and Therrell from 11:45 a.m. – 3 p.m.
