Zyla Valuation Advisors, LLC, a valuation and litigation consultancy firm, has opened in Atlanta’s Ponce City Market. The firm will be led by managing director Mark L. Zyla, director Camille Pacht and manager Allan Raulerson.
 
Zyla Valuation Advisors provides valuation consulting services to clients located in Atlanta and throughout the Southeast. The team has decades of combined experience providing various types of entities with business valuation services for the purposes of financial reporting, tax planning, and litigation support. Additionally, Zyla Valuation Advisors provides valuation services for various types of intellectual property and other intangible assets.

With more than three decades of experience, Zyla is regarded as one of the country’s leading experts on fair value measurements. He previously served as a Managing Director in a boutique valuation and litigation consultancy and as the practice group leader with PwC’s corporate finance consulting group for the Southeastern, United States.
 
Zyla has earned multiple certifications, including a Certified Public Accountant, Accredited in Business Valuation (CPA/ABV), Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), and an Accredited Senior Appraiser with the American Society of Appraisers certified in Business Valuation (ASA). He serves as Chairman of the Standards Review Board of the International Valuation Standards Council, and recently served on the AICPA’s Forensic and Valuation Services Executive Committee. Zyla is a member of the Business Valuations Committee of the ASA where he also serves as a member of the Business Valuation Standards and Technical Issues subcommittees. Additionally, he is on the Advisory Council of the Master of Science in Finance program at the University of Texas at Austin.
 
Zyla earned his undergraduate degree in finance from the University of Texas at Austin and a MBA with a concentration in finance from Georgia State University. He completed the Mergers and Acquisitions Program at the Aresty Institute of The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and the Valuation Program at the Graduate School of Business at Harvard University.
 
Pacht has extensive experience providing valuation consulting related to mergers and acquisition, financial reporting, tax planning, corporate recapitalizations and various types of intangible assets. She previously served in the transaction advisory services practices at E&Y and PwC, where she provided valuation advisory services to a number of industries. Pacht also has experience in project finance, trading currencies and selling foreign exchange services to treasurers of multinationals, and providing strategic counsel on merger integration projects
 
Pacht earned her undergraduate degree from the American University in Paris, France and a MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State. From 1995 - 2011, she served as a CPA.
 
Raulerson has over 12 years of experience in accounting and finance and provides valuation consulting services for various entities as well as assisting in providing business and financial advice to attorneys and clients in the litigation process. He has assisted in valuation engagements for privately held and publicly held clients for the purposes of financial reporting, tax compliance, litigation support and management planning purposes.  Additionally, Raulerson has experience in economic damage calculations and forensic investigations.
 
Raulerson has earned multiple certifications, including a CPA, Accredited in Business Valuation (CPA/ABV) through the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) through the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA) and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) through the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).
 
Raulerson earned his undergraduate degree in finance from Berry College and a MBA from Kennesaw State University. He has completed additional masters level coursework in accounting at the University of Rhode Island.
