U.S. Senator David Perdue (R-GA) visited The Home Depot’s store support center in Atlanta to meet with employees about progress on trade negotiations and continued economic growth in Georgia and across the country.
“The Home Depot continues to lead their industry on the global stage, and I’m proud they have made Georgia their home for more than four decades,” said Senator Perdue. “For seven consecutive years, Georgia has been named the best state in the country in which to do business. Companies like Home Depot deserve much of the credit for that success, and without a doubt, the 2017 tax cuts and regulatory rollbacks will continue to help our local economy. In addition to serving millions of customers across North America, Home Depot has made it their mission to serve our nation’s veterans and their families. The Home Depot Foundation is also investing in America’s workforce and training thousands of skilled women and men for critical trade careers. Thanks to everyone at Home Depot for welcoming us and for your continued commitment to supporting communities in Georgia.”
