Lincoln Property Company Southeast (Lincoln) has negotiated a 40,000-square-foot, long-term lease expansion for Veeam Software at NorthWinds Office Park in Alpharetta, Georgia. This comes just months after a recent expansion and increases its total footprint to nearly 130,000 square feet at NorthWinds VII. Hunter Henritze, Michael Howell and Caroline Fisher of Lincoln represented the landlord.

Initially occupying 3,100 square feet of space at the office park in 2010, Veeam has continued to grow at NorthWinds as it expands its global reach. As a leader in intelligent data management solutions, Veeam develops backup, disaster recovery and intelligent data management software for virtual, physical and multi-cloud infrastructures. This announcement comes on the heels of another significant expansion for Veeam in October 2018, in which Veeam relocated from NorthWinds II to NorthWinds VII and expanded its lease to 90,000 square feet of space.

“Veeam’s journey at NorthWinds Office Park is the ultimate success story of growth in the North Fulton office market. With common ownership and over one million square feet of office product, NorthWinds allows tenants to grow more easily and Veeam is the perfect example of this,” said Lincoln’s Henritze. “As the NorthWinds master-planned community continues to take shape, we are looking forward to seeing current and prospective tenants grow their businesses at the park.”

NorthWinds Office Park, a 258-acre mixed-use development, is master-planned and zoned for 4,000,000 square feet of Class-A office space, 500,000 square feet of retail space, 600 hotel rooms and 800 apartment homes. The development features a comprehensive package of amenities with two hotels, four banks, nine restaurants, two complimentary fitness facilities, a daycare and learning facility and six free conference and training facilities. The Daily, a creative food hall curated by one of the creators of Atlanta’s well-known Krog Street Market, is slated to open on NorthWinds’ campus this year.
