Andrew Hicks Joins Frazier & Deeter as Vice President of Risk Assurance and National Practice Leader

Frazier & Deeter, one of the nation’s largest accounting and advisory firms, announced that Andrew Hicks, CISA, CRISC, CCSFP, HCISPP, MBA has joined the firm as National Practice Leader for HITRUST and Vice President of Risk Assurance.

Hicks brings nearly two decades of experience to Frazier & Deeter’s Process, Risk & Governance practice. He specializes in working with organizations to adopt, implement and manage information security programs, specifically in regards to HITRUST, HIPAA regulatory compliance, risk management and SOC examination procedures. Hicks’ deep knowledge of the healthcare marketplace will also enable Frazier & Deeter to enhance its existing assessment and advisory services to overcome information security compliance and regulation challenges.

Prior to joining the firm, Hicks was Vice President of Healthcare Services at Coalfire. In that role, he successfully built a national practice by developing sales, marketing and delivery strategies centered on solving customer challenges. Earlier in his career he worked with a variety of organizations and industries in the areas of information system security and compliance.
Hicks has an MBA in Organizational Leadership from The University of Findlay, and a BSBA in Management Information Systems from Bowling Green State University.
