Kenny Coleman Remains at the Helm of DeKalb Chamber

The DeKalb Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Kenneth E. Coleman will continue as its interim President and CEO after his announced retirement from Georgia Power Company on May 1st. Coleman has been at the helm of the DeKalb Chamber since December and was on loan from Georgia Power Company. His transition from Georgia Power to the DeKalb Chamber of Commerce will occur immediately.
“I am honored that the Board of Directors has asked me to continue as Interim President and CEO”, said Coleman. “This is a pivotal time in our Chamber’s history and I look forward to continuing the work of supporting our local business community and growing jobs in DeKalb County.”

We believe the best days for our Chamber are ahead of us and Kenny will be a big part of our collective success.”
Coleman will continue in his work to ensure efficient Chamber operations, grow membership and solidify strategic partnerships and alliances with a broad range of constituencies, including the Chamber’s Board of Directors, DeKalb County government officials, and business leaders from around DeKalb and metro Atlanta.
