Lenbrook ranks number one in Georgia in the 50–99 bed category on the Newsweek list of America’s Best Nursing Homes 2026, the second year it has earned the top spot. The list highlights the nation’s leading nursing homes in the 33 states with the highest number of facilities according to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
“Lenbrook is committed to excellence in caring for residents, and being ranked number one in Georgia in the 50–99 bed category by Newsweek for the second year is a result of that dedication,” said Chris Keysor, President and CEO of Lenbrook.
Nettie Thrash, Vice President, Health Services, said, “Every day, our healthcare team provides high-quality, person-centered care and support to all our residents."
Lenbrook offers a wide array of services and outstanding amenities that support active aging. Its full continuum of healthcare services on one campus includes an Assisted Living Center and a Medicare-certified Health Care Center with 60 private skilled nursing rooms.
Newsweek worked with Statista to evaluate nursing homes on four pillars: performance data, peer recommendations, accreditations and resident satisfaction. Performance data carried an increased weight in this year’s list to reflect the growing emphasis on clinical quality metrics. Statista used CMS data to determine the performance of nursing homes. For peer recommendations, Statista invited thousands of registered nurses, nursing home managers and administrators, licensed practical nurses/licensed vocational nurses, nursing assistants, therapists and physicians to an online survey. Experts from all over the U.S. could participate in the survey of the America’s Best Nursing Homes by State on newsweek.com.
