Thursday, October 16th, 2025
AmeriPro Health, an industry leader in emergency services, patient logistics, and technology-driven healthcare services and solutions, announced today the hiring of Jeff Ertwine as the company’s new Chief of Staff. In this role, Ertwine will support companywide strategy and execution overseeing the Project Management Office while leading initiatives across operations, IT, data/analytics, and recruitment and retention.
Ertwine joins AmeriPro following a 21-year career in the U.S. Marine Corps where he served as an F/A-18 pilot with more than 3,000 flight hours and 100 combat missions. He advanced to executive officer of a Marine aircraft group with 2,800 personnel, managing operations across 10 squadrons and a staff of 40 in functions ranging from intelligence to logistics.
Ertwine’s military pedigree also includes selection to the prestigious “Top Gun” aviator program along with multiple medals for valor in combat. After rising through the ranks, he quickly earned a reputation for detailed planning, decisive execution, and enabling others to succeed in complex, high-stakes environments.
After retiring from military service, Ertwine transitioned into corporate leadership roles at Cox Communications and Segra where he manpaged multi-million-dollar programs, including a $700 million annual network transformation initiative. He also led integration planning for a $3 billion acquisition, overseeing cross-functional teams to deliver seamless operational readiness on day one. These experiences honed his expertise in program management, strategic planning, and data-driven decision-making — all of which he now brings to AmeriPro.
“Jeff is a proven leader who knows how to get things done and empower teams to succeed,” said Larry Richardson, CEO of AmeriPro Health. “His blend of military discipline, corporate expertise, and commitment to integrity makes him the perfect addition to our executive team as we continue to grow and innovate. Jeff’s insight will be invaluable as we continue to foster new avenues for improving patient outcomes while adding value for our strategic partners.”
In addition to his corporate and military accomplishments, Ertwine is an active volunteer with Hiring Our Heroes, supporting veterans in their transition to civilian careers through mentoring and resume coaching. At AmeriPro, he plans to leverage that experience to strengthen pipelines for recruiting veterans and military medics into emergency medical services roles.
“I’ve had the privilege of watching AmeriPro grow from an idea into a respected industry leader, and I’m honored to officially join the team,” said Ertwine. “This is an opportunity to help a company I deeply respect continue its trajectory by building on its foundation of integrity, service, and high-quality care for both patients and employees.”
Ertwine’s appointment underscores AmeriPro’s commitment to building a seasoned leadership team capable of driving sustainable growth. By blending military-tested leadership principles with proven corporate strategies, he will play a critical role in ensuring AmeriPro remains well-positioned to expand its impact and deliver best-in-class emergency medical services nationwide.
Ertwine earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of San Diego and his MBA from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business.
Established in 2018 in the Metro Atlanta area, AmeriPro Health has rapidly grown to more than 1,300 employees in nine states. The company is active in major markets such as Atlanta, Detroit, Louisville, and Jacksonville with continued growth projected in the months ahead.
