Yacht Rock Revue to Headline Live Thrive’s A CHaRM’ing Evening Fundraiser Oct. 23
Tuesday, October 21st, 2025
Atlanta’s own Yacht Rock Revue has been making waves around the country, but for one night this fall, the popular band will offer an intimate performance at Live Thrive’s annual fundraiser, A CHaRM’ing Evening presented by Cox Enterprises.
While the nonprofit, which operates the city’s two CHaRM (Center for Hard to Recycle Materials) locations, celebrates its 15th anniversary this year, the 18-year-old band will serve up its repertoire of classic ‘70s and ‘80s hits to take attendees on a nostalgic voyage through the shimmering seas of music.
In addition to the smooth yacht rock sounds, the event includes hors d’oeuvres, cocktails and the opportunity to mix and mingle with likeminded eco-conscious Atlantans. The event supports Live Thrive’s educational initiatives, such as its STE(A)M grants for local schools and the Corporate + Community Challenge, as well as its CHaRM operations.
In the 15 years since Live Thrive was founded by Peggy Whitlow Ratcliffe, the organization has achieved several major accomplishments, among them, the opening of CHaRM Atlanta in 2015 and the opening of CHaRM DeKalb in 2024. That means, the nonprofit is actually marking three anniversaries this year – Live Thrive’s 15th, CHaRM Atlanta’s 10th and CHaRM DeKalb’s first.
A CHaRM’ing Evening offers supporters a delightful way to celebrate these important milestones and ensure their continuation.
