Alonzo Llorens Joins Parker Poe’s Corporate Practice in Atlanta

Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP is pleased to announce that Alonzo Llorens has joined the firm as counsel in its Atlanta office. He brings substantial experience in corporate law and represents clients ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies.
Alonzo’s legal career started with the federal government, as he worked as an attorney in the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Honors Program and later with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in its Division of Corporation Finance. Today, he focuses his practice on capital markets and finance, mergers and acquisitions, securities compliance, corporate governance, minority business enterprise (MBE) certification, and structuring and navigating compliance with MBE transactions.
Alonzo is deeply involved in the Atlanta community. He is a member of 100 Black Men of Atlanta and has served on a variety of boards, including with the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, the Atlanta Business League, and the Atlanta Legal Diversity Consortium. He has also been awarded the Atlanta Business League’s Leadership Award and its Men of Influence Award.
Alonzo earned his law degree from Howard University, where he was managing editor of the Howard Law Journal. He earned his bachelor's degree in international trade and finance from LSU. Outside of work, Alonzo is also an author who has written a political thriller called The Mirror.
