The part-time MBA at Georgia State University’s J. Mack Robinson College of Business jumped to 28th overall (up 20 spots) and 16th among programs at public universities in rankings released March 17 by U.S. News & World Report. Robinson’s graduate program in computer information systems rose (CIS) to 8th overall (up five spots) and 5th among public university programs in the publication’s “Best Graduate Schools, ″ 2021 edition.
 
Robinson also is ranked in two graduate specialties included for the first time by U.S. News. The college’s real estate program is 7th overall and 1st in the South. Among real estate programs at public universities, it is 4th in the nation. Robinson’s business analytics program is 33rd overall and 11th among public university programs.
 
U.S. News bases its part-time MBA rankings on five factors: peer assessments from business school deans and program directors at schools offering part-time MBA programs; average GMAT and GRE scores of part-time students entering in fall 2019; average undergraduate GPA; work experience; and percentage of fall 2019 enrollment that is part-time. Two-hundred seventy-two programs, all at institutions accredited by AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), were evaluated.
